Job Description

The Mezz bar and Eatery is looking for an Floor Supervisor.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in weekly management team meetings to discuss successes, opportunities, profitability and staff growth.
  • Hold team accountable for all opening, closing and side duties.
  • Execute a rush flawlessly from start to finish while remaining calm, cool and collected.
  • Build return business and create new regulars.
  • Execute preshifts with a focus on driving sales, creating great guest experiences and teamwork.
  • Consistently table touch to engage guests for feedback on food and drink items, quality of service and overall experience.
  • Assist team members in handling any guest complaints and always find a solution to the problem that ensures the guest is satisfied and happy.
  • Accountability, with the support of Manager, on any team member issues including:
    • Dresscode.
    • Tardiness.
    • Product Knowledge.
    • Attitude/Teamwork.
    • Guest Experience.
    • Workability.
    • Conflict.
    • Accountability of Product.
  • Manage server sections and make appropriate decisions within a shift to successfully impact labor in order to meet targets.
  • Actively recruit new team members while maintaining growth within the current team.
  • Complete ability to successfully fill any role (host, expeditor, server, bartender) during service.
About The 1911 Lounge Ltd.:THE MEZZ IS A RESTAURANT IN THE BEVERIDGE BUILDING ON 2ND ST IN THE HISTORIC BEVERIDGE BUILDING IN MEDICINE HAT, ALBERTA The position listed needs to be filled as soon as possible for the restaurant given the best candidate is available.
