Job Description

Location: Meadow Ridge Seniors Village, Medicine Hat, AlbertaSchedule: Variety neededJoin our team at Meadow Ridge Seniors Village, where you’ll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. As a Health Care Aide (HCA), you’ll work with a dedicated team under the guidance of a Nurse to support residents’ daily needs, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.We are offering re-location allowance and one month or more of paid accommodation for the right candidate (within Alberta)!Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful, compassionate personal care and support based on individualized care plans.
  • Assist with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and recreational activities.
  • Build strong, therapeutic relationships with residents and their families, promoting autonomy and choice.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve resident care.
  • Maintain a safe, homelike environment and adhere to safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a recognized Health Care Aide program, registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Effective communication, compassion, and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and moving residents as needed.
