Job Description

Medicine Hat, ABPattison Media has an exciting opportunity for someone creative, curious, and hardworking to join our team as a Video Journalist.Everyday is a little different but usually involves the following:

  • Shooting engaging and creative content for multiple platforms
  • Writing and editing news/sports stories and features
  • Contributing story ideas
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Connect with people in the community
  • Report live in the field
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
Ideally our next team member will have the following qualifications:
  • Experience using ENG cameras to shoot news, sports, and community events
  • Show creativity in camera work
  • Familiar with Adobe Premier Pro for editing
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Knowledge of issues impacting residents in Southern Alberta would be an asset
