Poised for growth, we are seeking to add our next strategic partner to support our organizational goals and build our business.What you’ll do:Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Controller will play an active leading role in guiding the overarching financial strategy of the business. The Controller will be responsible for applying accounting and financial analysis into actionable outcomes and opportunities that drives the business forward in growth. The Controller will lead a high functioning team to ensure the delivery of financial statements and reports, along with expert analysis to maximize department sales and profit. Additional responsibilities include:Conduct financial forecasts and reviews to determine the feasibility of proposed business projectsOversee the preparation of financial statements summaries, reconciliations, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reportsEnsure finance-related regulatory, legislative, and policy requirements are met, and updated as changes occur.Establish short- and long-term strategies, goals, and objectives in alignment with the business Strategic PlanOversee the financial planning and budget processes and support department managers as neededImplement effective internal audit procedures to mitigate financial and internal control risk.Oversee the performance of accounting and finance professionals, and team members within the finance and accounting areaWho you are:You are looking for a career in Finance and:You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a Chartered Professional Accountant Certification (CPA)You have 10+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role with 8+ at a management levelA combination of relevant education and experience may be consideredPrairie North Co-op offers a competitive salary, annual bonus incentives, relocation assistance, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to work with one of Saskatchewan’s most successful brands.Apply to hr@prairienorth.crs by November 28, 2021, or contact Nolan Fischer, Human Resources Manager at (306) 381-4559 for more information.Quick Apply
