Job Description

Overview:Fountain Tire Melfort, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician.Wage: $18-$22/hour - Dependant on experience.What is in it for you

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing car, SUV, & light truck tires
  • Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including GHS, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
  • Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • Pride in the work youve done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!
Working conditions:
  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
  • Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
  • This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
  • This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the tire industry is an asset
  • A valid drivers license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory drivers abstract
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
