Job Title: Mapping Technician (Full-time)Location: NE Saskatchewan - Flexible (Humboldt/Melfort/Wynyard/Other) Start Date: Immediately About Us: CropPro Consulting is the largest independent agronomy company in Saskatchewan, serving our clients for nearly 20 years! Our business is comprised of two main areas: SWAT MAPS Variable-rate and Crop Scouting Services. SWAT MAPS is the foundation of all soil applied variable-rate applications, enabling farmers to better understand their field variability to optimize crop inputs and profitability. You can find more information on our services at www.croppro.ca.Responsibilities: - Collection of geo-referenced electrical conductivity, RTK elevation, and field boundaries- Assisting with weather station installations and in-season maintenance- Assisting with in-season variable-rate field assessments, including plant stand counts- Providing variable-rate controller support to new clients- Assisting agronomy staff with in-season insect and disease scouting- Champion the brand and help grow the business throughout SKRequirements: - A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, or related field- Strong knowledge of Western Canadian agriculture and farming practices considered an asset- High level of integrity and commitment to providing unrivaled service- Able to work independently and think strategically- Ability to travel, if needed- Class 5 Driver License required.
