We are a proud equal opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.Come explore what makes us one of BC’s Top Employers!ResponsibilitiesThe Part Control/Warranty Clerk is responsible for:Controlling and tracking all outstanding parts and tools to ensure their disposition is accounted for and the associated repair documents are correct.Assigning repair purchase orders and work orders.Arranging shipping of parts and tools for repairs.Updating daily the related computer records to ensure the inventory and maintenance records are current and correct regarding minimum/maximum, on hand and on order quantities.Administering the warranty program along with the associated record keeping and reporting.Maintaining all vehicle accident repair claims and associated parts tracking.QualificationsEDUCATIONGrade 12 technical or commercial program, including data entry and courses in a computerized work environmentEXPERIENCE:Atleast 18 months with upto 2 years preferred, clerical experience in a technical environment where a knowledge of mechanical terminology and parts has been acquired and involving broad clerical experience and the operation of a personal computer. Plus up to 6 months on the job to become familiar with the procedures and job requirement of the position.Other InformationRecruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.
