  • The most critical skill/competency is to be able to control the CEO, to hold him, team mates, and yourself accountable to the outcomes required to serve our mission.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Answering CEOs phone and responding to emails.
  • Scheduling meetings, inspections, visitations, travel arrangements, and activities both personal and professional.
  • Preparing correspondences and documents (i.e. agreements, Letter of Intent, proposals) requesting proposals and quotes, reports, account invoices, etc.
  • Be the communication between the CEO team, and clients.
  • Organization of personal and business documents.
  • Updating and maintaining accounting, banking, and bill payments.
  • Managing CEOs time is critical.
  • Support development of new processes for new systems that will lead to the overall growth of our organization and experiences not just professionally, but personally as well.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively working closely with the CEO to leverage his time and productivity. Must be able to lead the CEO, and direct him.
  • Prioritizing projects to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Managing the Trust Account monthly and preparing for Audit once yearly. We have systems for that.
  • Managing payrolls, and government remittances.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Should be located in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
  • College degree minimum.
  • Those with previous experience as Office Manager / Executive Assistant, supporting professionals in real estate, accounting, banking or law will be given higher consideration.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, GoogleSheets, GoogleDocs, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiar with social media sites and other online based software systems.
  • Own a car
  • Punctuality
  • Someone who leads a healthy lifestyle, with positive mindset is a must.
  • Must be driven, and self sufficient
  • Must have the ability to keep the CEO focused on task at hand, and on schedule.
