Job Description

As a member of the Customer Service Team for the largest Holiday Light Show in Southwestern Ontario, Magic of Lights, you will be responsible for ensuring that the lights are always on and guests have a fantastic experience!***This job is located very close to Strathroy in Delaware/Mt Brydges. Only applicants with transportation to this location are encouraged to apply.**Responsibilities:

• Spreading festive cheer!
• Helping with traffic management, guiding vehicles into and through the show
• Greeting guests, sharing show information, scanning tickets
• Selling tickets at the gate
• Directing guests to pick up pre-purchased merchandise
• Ensuring guests follow safety rules while enjoying the show
• Helping with general maintenance, and cleanliness of the show grounds

Working HoursThis is a part-time role, with 4-6 hour shifts between 5pm-10:30pm. Shifts could be on week nights or weekends. The show is open 7 days per week. Minimum 2 shifts per week, up to 7 shifts/week available if desired. Mostly outdoor work.Qualifications

• Experience as event staff or in customer service strongly preferred
• Friendly, positive, kind demeanor required
• Reliable, on-time, and trustworthy
• Willing & able to work in winter weather conditions
• Personal transportation required. Event is located in Delaware, just outside of Strathroy. Event location is not accessible by public transit.

TermTraining during the week of November 13. Show shifts between Nov 18-Jan 8.
