Facility Assistant- Crop InputsThis is a seasonal position from March 2024 – July 2024.Parrishamp; Heimbecker Join our team that shares your Passionamp; Heart for Canadian agriculture! Your RoleReporting to the CI Manager, the Facility Assistant, will carry out the required duties involved in the handling of crop inputs, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operation of the crop input facility.Day to Day

  • Assisting in the handling of crop inputs including chemical and seed
  • Operation of commercial vehicles, agricultural and material handling equipment for seed/chemical delivery
  • Performing exceptional customer service duties
  • Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
Qualifications
  • Experience in a general labour job, preferably in agriculture or farming
  • Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving abstract
  • Experience operating large Class 5 vehicles, skid steers, and forklifts is considered an asset
  • Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)
  • Flexible work schedule (extended hours may be required)
