Job Description

Are you a dedicated, passionate professional looking to grow your career with a company long-term Join Hall Constructors as a Project Manager!Your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the construction project including the planning, coordinating and supervising construction activities including crew and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for construction projects by implementing the Company’s OH&S management system
  • Liaise with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding the contract, change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
  • You collaborate with the Superintendent/Supervisor/Foreman to implement project objectives including upholding the health and safety program and quality control
  • You possess an in-depth knowledge of construction contracts and contract language
  • Ability to accurately identify and submit proper paperwork for RFIs, Change Orders, tenders, schedules and other items as required
  • You have the ability to create a project schedule and track schedule slippage
You bring the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Diploma or Degree and PMP designation considered an asset or equivalent is an asset
  • 5 years experience estimating and/or as a Project Manager
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget with a minimum of
  • You have project management and estimating experience associated with civil construction
  • P.Eng. or are working towards it, equivalent education and experience is an asset
Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites
  • Proficient working with MS Office Suite
  • Experience working with CAD software, Bluebeam, time scheduling software
  • You have the ability to create a project schedule and track schedule slippage
  • You have a solid working knowledge of computers and cost-management programs
  • You are able to understand job costing, coding, and cost forecasting
