Qualifications:Essential:

• Experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment including managing electronic calendars to schedule and coordinate meetings, managing correspondence, data entry, and maintaining filing and document tracking systems.
• Experience working with the public and providing customer service to a diverse clientele.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills to draft, format and edit correspondence, letters, memos and reports
• Strong verbal communication skills to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders in person and by phone.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Duties:This position provides administrative, coordination and secretarial support to the Agricultural Crown Lands Section. The position is responsible for demonstrating leadership in coordinating activities and in completing independent tasks, such as collating and gathering background information, and organizing meetings and events to support the delivery of the overall Agricultural Crown Lands Program. Responsibilities of this position include providing support to the Agricultural Crown Lands team by assisting with scheduling, correspondence, ensuring staff meet deadlines, and coordinating administrative functions.
