Job Description

Pembina Co-op is hiring an Agro Centre Manager at our location in Minto, MB.Who we are:Co-op does business differently. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.pembinaco-op.crsWhat you’ll do:Reporting to the Division Manager - Agro Division, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Minto Agro Centre, which includes the management of the Bulk Petroleum location and cardlock.

  • Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits within established guidelines
  • Provides operational direction and supports the implementation of programs and policies. Applies a broad based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of
  • Act as a liaison and public relations representative within the community, monitoring member satisfaction levels and participates in the development of products and services to increase customer
  • Provide leadership in the area of employee relations, hiring, training, development, recognition and discipline
  • Provide leadership in the area of asset protection and health & safety

  • You have applicable post-secondary education – Diploma or Degree in Agriculture
  • Preferably you have 5 years of Agronomy experience and previous leadership experience
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
