Position:Manager, Electricalamp; Controls Reports to: Director, ProjectsWe are looking for an Manager, Electricalamp; Controls to join our Projects team! Our Projects team is responsible for managing short- and long-term organizational projects to drive operational efficiencies within the organization. Opportunities In this role, it’s important to be a hands-on manager who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and support the team on the floor when needed. You will have a very involved leadership role as you will be working closely with direct reports to ensure we operate at high-performance levels while fostering a safe and team-oriented work environment. The primary challenge is to work effectively in a dynamic and constantly changing environment while delivering exceptional results and driving forward automation related projects. Experience
  • You have 10 years of relevant programming, electrical and commissioning experience
  • You have experience leading a team and managing contractors
  • You have experience with planning, budgets, quoting, purchasing and installation of capital projects
  • You have experience with managing data in a time-sensitive environment
Nice-to-Have
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced or and rapidly growing environment
  • You have experience in a food manufacturing environment
things you will do…
  • Manage a growing team of electricians, programmers and automation specialists
  • Lead and develop a team providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support
  • Ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and planning of programming/logic creation
  • Work closely with the mechanical team to commission new/rebuild equipment
  • Manage and oversee contractor relationships and projects
  • Teach, train guide and mentor all direct reports
  • Work with ownership to identify and explore future automation opportunities
  • Prepare Daily Shift Reports and track KPI’s
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and develop or revise standard operational and working practices
  • Partner with People and Culture team to identify talent needs, resolve issues, and build a positive culture on the floor
