Job Description

ElectromechanicReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electromechanical is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our electronic control systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems that are on our production machines. He/she showcases improvement actions to keep all our systems efficient and reliable. Responsibilities:

  • Ability to repair breakdowns on our auxiliary systems, ensure good performance and optimize productivity.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with the pre-established schedule, record data on a computer, and help improve the existing system.
  • Maintain all technical documentation related to its activities (technical plans, work procedures, etc.).
  • Install new equipment.
  • Modify equipment where necessary.
  • Be available to answer calls and move around the plant when needed.
  • Be available to work overtime when required.
  • In emergency situations, be able to intervene and assess hazards.
  • Keep your workplace clean and tidy.
  • Apply the various safety rules.
Requirements:
  • Certification in electromechanical, industrial mechanics or any other related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers) (e.g. Allen-Bradley, OMRON)
  • Bilingual (English and French)
