If you #39;re ready to take on this meaningful opportunity, apply today and let #39;s build something that truly makes a difference!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SITE SUPERVISOR (HEALTH CARE)As a Site Supervisor at First Onsite, you #39;re not just arriving at work; you #39;re stepping into a role where every decision you make sets the tone for success.You #39;ve reviewed the project schedule and know exactly what needs to be done. The Project Managers have entrusted you with overseeing the site, and you #39;ve meticulously scheduled every task to ensure no detail is overlooked. As the linchpin of the operation, you #39;re coordinating activities, resources, and equipment, making sure that everything is in place for the day #39;s work to proceed without a hitch.You maintain detailed project schedules, juggling administrative tasks across multiple sites. You monitor your staff #39;s efficiency and effectiveness, review and authorize timesheets, and ensure that every aspect of the work meets the required scope before signing off on the day #39;s accomplishments.Your work doesn #39;t end when the day does. Each evening, you reflect on the progress made, the challenges overcome, and the goals achieved, and you take pride in your accomplishments. You report outcomes to the Operations Manager, knowing that your efforts are a vital part of the larger picture at First Onsite.This is the life of a Site Supervisor at First Onsite-a role that #39;s not just about managing construction projects but about leading people, ensuring quality, and driving success. It #39;s a story of dedication, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence in every project you touch.Qualificationsamp; Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of construction processes and project scheduling in the Health Care industry is a MUST
  • Infection Controlamp; ICRA, Experience with how to prevent contamination and maintain sterile environments.
  • HEPA Filtrationamp; Negative Air Systems, Experience setting up and maintaining air filtration systems to control dust and airborne particles.
  • Medical Gasamp; Electrical Systems Awareness, Familiarity with hospital-specific utilities, including oxygen lines and emergency power.
  • Work in Active Healthcare Environments, Experience with how to minimize disruption to patients, staff, and sensitive equipment.
  • Compliance with Hospital Safety Regulations
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/foreman role within the restoration/emergency or related industry, with a proven track record managing crews/trades
  • In-depth understanding of reconstruction practices for properties affected by water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damage.
  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes (hospitals) and related electrical, plumbing, or mechanical regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Xactimate is an asset.
  • Basic accounting skills, including invoicing, billing, and general math.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces).
