Job Description

Key responsibilities:- Drive proactive proposals and participate in scope estimations for projects. Proactively assist in managing a portfolio of upcoming project initiatives.- Drive strategic initiatives with the clients #39; businessamp; technical stakeholders. Provide both technical and operational advice, as well as guidance, to support clients #39; information technology infrastructure and applications with the Client and other vendors.- Actively engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities in new/existing technologies. Develop or redesign strategies to solve complex technical and business challenges for clients.- Accountable for planning, managing, and delivering large, complex projects on time and schedule while managing clashes with other projects. Manage the Client Steering Committee for large-scale projects.- Lead a team of multidisciplinary information technology and business specialists established to address clients #39; business requirements and resolve system problems. Plan, schedule, and coordinate their work, provide advice, guidance, and direction to maintain quality. Establish performance measures for project members and provide meaningful and timely feedback.Progress knowledge in:- Project Management and Managing large portfolios- Developing industry leading solutions from estimate to proposal.- Stakeholder Management for both ITamp; Business Leaders- Lead complex multi-disciplinary project teams, manage people, budget, materials, and project timeframes, developing new approaches, methods, and processes to overcome project problems.- Anticipate clients #39; information technologyamp; business requirements to develop project plans and implement project deliverables that measurably improve clients #39; effectiveness and revenues.- Negotiate with clients #39; senior management, vendors, and suppliers to develop project plans and resolve project problems, especially when differing points of view on scope arise.- Work in a normal business office environment requiring concentrated attention to manage complex projects.- Thorough knowledge of multiple information technology systems and applications and their context is required.- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and an understanding of clients #39; business is necessary to develop and negotiate project plans.- Excellent project management and communication skills are required, typically acquired through roles in management.- Demonstrate experience in managing projects in SAP, Application, and infrastructure space.Required Skills- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Portfolio Manager, with a 4-year Bachelor #39;s Degree; an MBA is preferred.- PMP Certification is required.- Preferred experience includes working with the following:- SAP - IS-U, DM, Retail, CRM- Microsoft Experince- Insightsamp; Data / AI- Tivoli and MS AD- Cloudamp; On Prem Infrastructure- Utilitiesamp; Transformational Program skills is preferred.Life at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
