Job Description

Mandate: Reporting to the Vice President of North American Customs Services, the Regulatory Compliance Manager will be responsible for providing the full range of Canadian customs regulatory and advisory services to support our clients as well as the internal staff. Other Responsibilities: • Manage customs technical inquiries related to client accounts. • Conduct research and offer recommendations on Delmar’s service costs, such as simulation of customs audit at the clients’ location, drawbacks, HS codes, NAFTA/origin reviews, complex rulings and appeals, customs program application (i.e., PIP, CSA, and Duty Referral). • Act as a liaison between Canadian clients and US offices, providing support on US Customs regulations and advisory matters.• Develop and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Customs compliance manuals to ensure regulatory adherence and efficient internal processes.• Maintain broad range of projects and portfolio management, and ensure the delivery of projects on time.Requirements:• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Canadian Customs Compliance and Advisory Services• College Diploma in International Transportationamp; Customs or related field is preferred • Previous experience with staff management • Strong business acumen and knowledge of Canadian customs regulationsamp; trade processes and programs • CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred • Experience in CargoWise One system or related brokerage systems is considered an asset • Proficiency in MS Office What You Offer:• Ability to work independently (drive and self-starter/self-managed) • Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with various groups within the organization and capability of motivating your team to ensure successful mandate completion• Proven track record of project management • Ability to clearly present ideas and solutions to both internal and external parties • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Exceptional customer service skills • Extremely detail-oriented and organized What We Offer:• Equal opportunity employer   • Competitive compensation • Comprehensive Benefits package, including fitness reimbursement program(s) • Education Reimbursement Program • Balance between work and home life
