  • Salary range for Senior Press Operator is between 23 and 29$/hour
  • Hours: full time 40h/week shift rotation running day and night shift 7 to 7

At our facility in Mississauga you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Speciality Products division of our team as the Senior Press Operator :
  • Operate gear and servo-based presses, running the press at expected production rates
  • Work as a team to follow production schedules, complete changeovers and meet production goals
  • Conduct setups and press-related troubleshooting to maintain strict quality standards
  • Perform accurate ink station procedures to ensure proper color-matching for each customer specification
  • Communicateamp; problem-solve using daily reports such as, OEE, transition sheets, and set-up check lists
  • Perform quality checks to ensure film samples match targets and report variances
  • Participate in scheduled equipment PM #39;s and troubleshoot machine operation issues
  • Use core cutters, hand tools and transfer finished products on skids to warehouse using pallet jacks
  • Respects safety rules; maintains a clean/safe work environment, report issues and assist in safety
  • investigations and improvements
  • Perform all other related duties requested by your supervisor

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, FTA Certification an asset
  • 2+ years of flexographic printing experience, polyethylene film experience preferred
  • Able to color-match; color-blind test required
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs and standing for extended period
  • English language
