  • Support internal and external customers with quoting, order entry, project management and purchasing in a demanding customer service-oriented environment
  • Provide interface between customers, outside sales, service and operations teams
ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service:
  • Support customers via phone or email with technical questions, troubleshooting, RFQs and all other inquiries
  • Coordinate with suppliers or internal teams (locally / internationally) in order to effectively and expediently support customer inquiries
  • Provide spare parts, units and service (in-houseamp; field) quotes to customers
Project Management:
  • Accurate and detailed order entry in ERP system (Navision) of spare parts, units and service orders
  • Manage all open orders in order to maintain or exceed the customer #39;s delivery dates, quality and technical expectations
  • Create and expedite purchase orders for inventory and order demands in order to minimize delays
Technical:
  • Create or modify CAD drawings for machined components
  • Adjust existing CAD Drawings based on customer requirements
  • Coordinating assembly of components to produce new units
  • Quality Control of unitsamp; customized parts: incoming and outgoing
Operations:
  • Conduct 6S audit and facility maintenance initiatives
  • Support with HSE projects and continuous maintenance of documentation and systems
  • Support with ERP system maintenance (i.e. price uploads, BOM list creation, etc.)
  • Support inventory level analysis and adjustments to ensure accuracy and maintain stock levels
  • Support with continuous improvement efforts of OPNs and SOPs in order to standardize, increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Education
  • Technical Diploma / Degree in mechanical field
Knowledge and abilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in French an asset
  • Knowledgeamp; experience in tolerances and fits
  • Experience in creating CAD drawings preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation and components
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Working Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a similar industry (mechanical rotating equipment)
