This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to construction completion.To support a strong pipeline of secured and potential Transmission projects across North America (including significant ECIamp; EPC projects) we are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Transmission Lines Design Engineer (EIT) to join our Mississauga engineering teams. Job descriptionContribute to the design and engineering execution of transmission projects.The ideal candidate for this position should have a keen interest in power/transmission systems, be a team player, have a “can-do” attitude and a strong willingness to learn. Experience in the area of Transmission, Distribution, Utilities with knowledge of relevant codes and standards is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to undertake conceptual engineering design, analysis, and calculations for proposed projects, as well as review assist with developing deliverables required for the successful energization of overhead and underground transmission projects.Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
