Those who are living outside of Canada, NO need to apply.Administrative AssistantJob SummaryThe Administrative Assistant is responsible for all aspects of office routines and clerical duties for residents and employees in the retirement residence.Performance Requirements General· Promotes HARL mission, values, and vision· Effectively communicates and interacts with residents, family members, visitors, and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner

  • Understands and follows all health and safety policies and procedures (including residence’s fire and safety programs). Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, other staff members and residents. Promptly reports all actual or potentially hazardous situations
  • General reception duties
Staff
  • Prepares onboarding documents for new employees
  • Set up interviews
  • Updates employee database
  • Preparing and submitting payroll for processing
  • Benefits administration
  • Work Safe administration
  • Ensures daily hours reflect the budgeted/DSD accountability hours and report discrepancies to the manager
  • Summarize daily payroll hours and submit verified attendance sheets to managers for approval
  • Support for upper management
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, residents and their family members, and other professionals with a high degree of patience and tolerance
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Moncton, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
