Mel’s Waggin Tail Inn is looking for a full time dog knowledgeable individuals to add to our team.We are a very busy doggy daycare, boarding, facility. Even though this is a super fun position for dog lovers, please keep in mind it is not always cuddling dogs, things can get loud and hectic. It is also important to take into consideration that this is a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for an upbeat, reliable, and hard-working individual. Reliability and a good attitude are critical. This individual must be good with dogs and be able to read dog body language, read dog interactions and have dog knowledge.Individuals applying for this position need to be attentive to details, energetic, and patient. Exceptional customer service is required. Experience with dogs and/or horses is an asset. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation & Must be vaccinated against Covid-19.Responsibilities consist of:-Handling dogs in and out of kennels;-Yard clean up (picking up feces);-Cleaning kennels (occasionally includes urine, diarrhea, and vomit);-Socializing and supervising groups of dogs;-Washing dogs.We are open 7 days a week including holidays, split shifts & full daysFull time hours: 30-40h per week (1 - 3 weekends/month)Job Types: full time, PermanentSalary: $14.00-$15.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $14.00-$15.00 per hourBenefits:
