Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Moncton, NBSummary:Cumberland Paving and Contracting is part of Miller Paving Atlantic, based in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Cumberland Paving provides the public and private sectors with road construction, paving, road and structure rehabilitation, engineering construction, aggregate- based materials, highway operations and maintenance services.As a Loader Operator - Portable Crusher, You Will:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a loader for portable crushing operations
  • Perform daily maintenance, clean and service the equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment
  • Clean, lubricate equipment, and refill equipment tanks
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records, and daily equipment log
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
  • Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
  • Productively operated in a collaborative manner with all crew members
What Youll Bring:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, particularly with a loader
  • Must have a valid minimum class 5 drivers licence
  • Ability to operate in a fast pace and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
  • Effective communicate skills and be a team player
  • Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
  • Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Must be able to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions
  • Travel is required
