Job Description

The Maintenance Person is responsible for providing maintenance service to all area’s of the hotel. This scope includes basic repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, pool and common areas. Snow removal and cleaning of exterior of Hotel.

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to plan and prioritize the day and to ensure preventative maintenance is completed in a timely manner.
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Make rounds of the property to ensure everything is in working order, maintain safe walkway’s entrances etc., check exterior lighting and replace as necessary.
  • General cleaning duties during rounds of property such as picking up garbage, cigarette butts, weeding, lawn & plant care, paint touch ups, light fixtures, snow removal, building & window washing etc. Taking out garbage as required.
  • Complete maintenance requests and update log book to notify the next shift and to keep front desk informed.
  • All other duties as required.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $17.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Moncton, NB E1G 0L7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • Facilities Maintenance Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
  • Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
