Job Title: Production ControllerMain Function: The Production Controller will be responsible for the management of material demand and stock control. They will liaise with supply & shipping teams on delivery times, schedules, and management of risk.Reports to: Operations ManagerDuties: Manage inventory to meet production demands, according to schedule.Manage inventory control to ensure inventory accuracy.Co-ordinate with supply & shipping teams on delivery times, schedules & management of risk.Determine and prepare the proper reconciliation for inventory discrepancies.Review and close production orders.Make schedule forecasts and adapt to any foreseen challenges.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.Assist with quality audits.Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.Due to projected manufacturing demands, there may be a requirement to work overtime when required.Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.Employment Requirements: A University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance), is preferred; Or, equivalent knowledge/experience gained through other forms of education or training.Minimum 2 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills with ability to adapt quickly to change.APICS CPIM certification.An understanding of international logistical requirements and process as well as general inventory control principles.Expert knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel and ERP/MRP/DRP software.Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with various other stakeholders.Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kanban and SMEDMust be eligible to meet requirements of export control and security regulations including Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian government security clearances.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
