Job Description

Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:KMP.UN), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta & British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.We currently have an opportunity available for a customer focused, energetic Live-in Resident Manager at 40 Weldon Street in Moncton. This is a 63 unit building and there is an Assistant Resident Manager on site to share the on-call duties, as well as a part-time Cleaner. This position includes a rent benefit and salary as compensation.Responsibilities:

  • Some cleaning required in public areas
  • Shared on-call duties with the Assistant Resident Manager
  • Tenant relations, inquires and rental calls, bi-annual unit inspections
  • Overseeing snow removal and working with snow removal contractor
  • Building and maintaining positive professional tenant relationships
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with limited supervision
  • Previous experience within residential property management industry is an asset
