Operate a Shuttle Buggy in a safe and efficient mannerReceive asphalt from dump trucks and empty into the paver in motion to apply the asphaltFollow construction plans and quality specificationsMaintain the pace and continuity of the applicationPerform daily maintenance, and servicing of the equipmentClean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanksConduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and complete maintenance records and the daily equipment logOperate two-way radios and other communication equipmentProductively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew membersRequirements:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating various types of asphalt paversMust have a valid minimum class 5 driver's licence with driver’s abstract meeting Miller’s expectationsKnowledge of all paving equipment and the paving processAbility to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective mannerEffective communication (verbal and written)Ability to work as part of a teamMust have a high attention to detail and the ability to think criticallyPunctual and reliableWillingness to work extended hours and weekends, as requiredAbility to work outdoors in extreme weather conditionsWillingness to travel, requiredWe will contact candidates selected for an interview.
