We protect our customers and staff by hiring and training associates committed to our safety values.Kent Building Supplies is seeking a strong candidate in Moncton, NB to fill an immediate opening for a Training & Development Coordinator. This position reports to the Training & Development Manager and will support Corporate Training & Development initiatives.Working closely with the Human Resources and Operations teams, the Learning & Training Administrator will be responsible for:Supporting the delivery of all leadership and development programs across the organization by coordinating and executing program logistics, organizing necessary materials, providing administrative support and managing facility support.Preparing and maintaining training records, including program evaluations, attendance records, and learning schedulesCoordinating the implementation and adoption of JDI learning platformsSupporting the Training & Development department by maintaining the training and development budgetCoordinating the leadership and development training calendar and providing updates to the organization on upcoming development opportunitiesPreparing communication material related to talent, learning and development activitiesSupporting the Enterprise LMS (learning management system) for the Retail division by:Managing eLearning catalog items i.e. content, courses, offerings and specializationsManage training resources master data i.e. instructors, classrooms and suppliersSupport operations with catalog learning items access and assignments, including scheduling, completions, renewals, withdraws, etc.First tier for troubleshooting and resolving problems in the LMSWork closely with HR and Safety to ensure person records are up to date and match/align with requirements in the Learning system for the Enterprise.Manage the Kent training facility and support training events at the training center.The following qualifications are required:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field of study. An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong MS Excel, Outlook and Teams skillsAptitude for software and systems is required; previous experience in learning management systems would be an asset.Exceptional task management and problem-solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask while managing routine work and deadlines with a strong attention to detailSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels within the organizationAbility to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent written communication skills to create effective technical documentation and/or user training materials as required.A background in adult education or training & development is an asset.We appreciate your interest in our company!
