Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Claims Adjuster to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compensation claims for Lifestyle, Auto, Boat, and RV products. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with schedules from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, including at least two days per week in the office. What is in it for you:• Permanent, full-time position.• Work schedule: 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.• Hybrid work mode: At least two office days per week.• Attractive total compensation: Salary of $60.000 to $65.000, annual bonuses of 5% to 10% depending on experience, paid vacations, retirement savings plan, stock ownership plan, social benefits, personal well-being expense account, and three paid days off for volunteer activities.• Employee recognition: Employee recognition program.• Vacations: Starting with 4 weeks of vacation per year.• Professional development: Access to personalized career advancement plans, support for professional training, including obtaining the PAA title.• Employee well-being: Programs promoting the physical and psychological well-being of employees, periodic social events, and a diverse, inclusive, and dynamic team culture.Responsibilities:• Review and analyze policies, assessments, and technical reports to determine claim amounts, negotiate, and settle claims.• Process outstanding compensation claims for Lifestyle, Auto, Boat, and RV products.• Provide advice to clients on specialized products and offer quick and exemplary customer service.• Perform tasks within granted limits and make autonomous decisions.• Maintain detailed records according to established protocols.• Participate in projects and regularly provide feedback on processes.• Collaborate with claims teams from other regions.What you will need to succeed:• Post-secondary degree.• 1 to 2 years of experience in handling Property or Auto claims.• Experience in processing claims for specialized products, including RVs and boats.• Experience in customer service.• Possession of a claims expert license from AMF.• Required bilingualism: English and French.• Passion for Lifestyle claims and customer service.
