A NATURAL LEADER THAT IS LOOKING TO PUT YOUR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE TO GOOD USE MCA HAS THE PERFECT RETAIL OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU.$25 per hour!ABOUT MCAMCA is a leading Canadian Merchandising Company, offering Sales, Merchandising, Price Collection, Retail Audits and Data Collection services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across Canada.ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYMCA is seeking an experienced leader to manage a team of Retail Fixture Installers in Saint Jean Sur Richelieu, QC. You will be supporting a major big box retailer through their 5–6-month store renovation. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Merchandising Team Lead and the clients onsite project managers, the Fixture Team Lead will guide and manage their team to provide a sustained level of excellence. The Team Lead is the first point of contact for all fixture installation team members. Tasks include reading and interpreting floorplans and/or planograms for installation and placement of various store fixtures; this includes gondolas, warehouse racking and POP displays; receive and unload fixture shipments; assemble fixtures, ensuring all pieces are properly installed and secured in the correct locations as specified on drawings. Ensure project sites are clean, tidy, and free of health hazards. The Team Lead will also work to keep the team motivated and on track, collectively solving problems and delivering quality builds and installations. Communication with all parties will be key, including being present for routine meetings and store walks.

  • HOURS: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
  • SHIFTS: 9:00PM to 7:00AM from Monday night through Friday Morning
  • START DATE: ASAP
  • WAGE: $25 per hour
  • BONUSES: Referral, completion, and attendance bonus
  • TRAVEL: Mileage compensation for those traveling outside St. Jean Sur Richelieu

A successful Fixture Installer displays excellent attention to detail, sees no limits, and takes pride in the quality of their work. The Team Lead must work diligently to take ownership and form a unified team capable of being the best at what we do!
  • Proven, relatable experience reading & interpreting floorplans/planograms for installation and placement of various store fixtures
  • A keen understanding of managing and motivating individuals
  • Previous experience installing fixtures in big box retailers is an asset
  • Comfortable using computer/smartphone applications for submitting online reporting and photo uploads
  • Possesses the ability to lead through effective communication, as well as leading by example
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 40lbs, as well as capable of standing, bending, reaching, and lifting continuously for long periods of time
