Procurement Data AnalystWe are seeking a skilled professional for an exciting opportunity to support a global company in the mining and metal industry. This role, based in Montreal, offers the chance to play a key part in analyzing data and developing tools to enhance procurement performance, specifically within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) categories.What is in it for you:• Salaried: $38 to $41 per hour.• Incorporated Business Rate: $43 to $46 per hour.• 12-month contract with the potential for renewal.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Hybrid work: 3 days per week at the office.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities:• Support the transactional specialist with data-driven requests, including report generation, spend data analysis, market research, supplier information, and contract requirements.• Troubleshoot supplier and internal stakeholder concerns related to MRO transactions within the system.• Develop and consolidate actionable reports, establishing reporting protocols and processes for the team. Examples include:• Reconciling project pipelines on a regular basis.• Tracking KPIs for performance measurement on improvement projects.• Enhancing processes for updating price agreements.• Collaborate with the team to address process improvements and integrate MRO and procurement strategies into workflows.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis and report preparation• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in data modeling and standardization• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills• Experience or knowledge of SAP, especially in procurement and data master modules (an asset)• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, including Power BI, Power Automation, and Model-Driven Apps (preferred)• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing a continuous improvement mindset• Demonstrated ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude• Bilingual fluency in English and French: Required to communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams in Québec, as well as across Canada.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
