Job Description

Job DescriptionReporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the BDR Manager you will be responsible for: leading a team of BDRs to create qualified opportunities for the sales team; trainingamp; coaching members of the BDR team; and taking on operational and administrative tasks to help the BDR team perform and exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices amongst the BDRs, and will hire, train, onboard, and mentor new BDRs with the help of the Sales Enablement team.Responsibilities

  • Drive the drumbeat - create daily and weekly objectives, keep team accountable to hit the metrics
  • Train other members of the BDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
  • Execute and champion the sales strategy to achieve sales goals, increase sales productivity and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Listen to sales calls, ensure all steps in cadence are respected, lead morning stand up meetings, and join client calls to help close more complex deals.
  • Build call scripts, cadences, and email templates
  • Ensure BDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s
  • Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams on field events, targeted ad and nurture campaigns.
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the Sales Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
  • Help team members with their career planning and development, ensuring that they realize their full potential in sales at Vention
  • Work in collaboration with Content and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts.
