Job DescriptionTo provide cutting-edge expertise in geotechnics, rock mechanics and materials control for the realization of design or construction projects of all types and complexities by offering added value in terms of innovation, customer support and multidisciplinary integration of all CIMA+ areas of expertise, while positioning people at the center of engineering.We offer a flexible hybrid work mode allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices.Primary ResponsibilitiesWithin multidisciplinary teams of Earthamp; Environnement Department, participate in projects of design, rehabilitation or construction of buildings, roads, civil engineering structures, hydraulic structures, earthworks, slope stability, soil dynamics, temporary and permanent supports, deep and conventional foundations, for private or public, institutional or industrial clients, mainly in Quebec but also elsewhere in Canada. Your contribution to the team:

  • Conduct and supervise the completion of complete geotechnical studies from planning to report writing, including surveys, drilling, laboratory tests, as well as design recommendations
  • Inspect, assess the safety and bring concrete and earth dams up to standard
  • Participate in studies on tunnels and the stability of rock walls, including discontinuity surveys and potential landslide plans using a drone
  • Coordinate studies, engineering, field work, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare tender documents to respond to interdepartmental or public service offers
  • Supported by experienced draftsmen, prepare plans and specifications for earthworks, slope stabilization, bank protection, etc.
  • Supervise, supervise, train and guide the work of CPI or interns
  • Participate in the development of the team
