Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The logistics department is responsible to report profit and loss to Head Office for all inland moves within Canada and cross border. To properly forecast upcoming volume and create visibility on potential issues and communicate accordingly internally on best action plan for: MSC Canada’s primary asset – their containers – is effectively tracked and allocated to meet customer demands across Canada. The Specialist, Logistics – Network Planning is a the heart of communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective container management, maintenance, reporting and forecasting.Level of Responsibility Enhanced task complexity and accountability to customer. Enhanced autonomy in role, contributing significantly to team/organizational projects. Accountable for accuracy and efficiency in assigned tasks. Starting to mentor junior staff.
