Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Director, Total Rewardsamp; HRIS, you are part of the team responsible for attracting and retaining top talent through a competitive, strategic compensation and benefits programs that reflects our corporate values and culture. As the Compensation Advisor you play both an advisory role and act as an expert in delivering innovative, competitive, and cost-effective compensation and benefit programs that are valued by our employees and contribute to our overarching business objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advises and supports HR business partners and managers on compensation best practices and policies;
  • Manages various compensation-related projects across Canada, such as the development, design or revision of programs, policies, directives, and training materials related to the function;
  • Administers total compensation programs across the company (bonus plans, short incentives, executive compensation);
  • Assists in the annual performance management cycle and merit salary increases including the budget process, establishment of applicable salary increase guidelines, individual adjustments, validation, and reporting;
  • Manages job evaluation activities, monitors, and maintains the classification system to ensure its integrity;
  • Participates in total rewards surveys, is responsible for benchmarking and provides recommendations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness;
