A career in our Digital Forensics and eDiscovery (DFeD) practice, within Forensic Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients protect their business in today #39;s evolving landscape by applying advanced and strategic approaches to information management. We focus on assisting organisations manage vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes demanded by critical events which includes litigation, regulatory requests and internal investigations.nnOur team helps our clients collect, filter, and review electronic documents to effectively mitigate technological risk and maximise exploitation of their information assets.What to consider before applying• This role requires the candidate to be fluent in French and English. Purpose-led work you #39;ll be part of• Forensic acquisition of a variety of data sources and devices (e.g., systems logs, computers, mobile devices, servers, social media, cloud, etc.) • Forensic analysis and investigation of collected evidence • Remediation of compromised systems • Preparing high-quality investigative reports for partner review and subsequent delivery to clients detailing procedures undertaken, results, limitations and recommended actions • Appropriate data handling and documentation of digital evidence, in order to maintain data integrity throughout the process • Managing workload to ensure timelines are met whilst ensuring quality is maintained • Providing timely updates to Project Manager and assisting with client deliverables such as status updates and reports • Learning current applications and procedures utilised by PwC whilst maintaining an awareness of changing technologies and other industry tools and methodologies • Assisting with business development efforts, such as preparation of presentations or proposals, and shadowing meetings .Experiences and skills you #39;ll use to solve• Completion of a degree, masters or diploma with a concentration in one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Information Technology, or related sciences or equivalent related work experience • Excellent technical skills, with experience and/or knowledge of Digital Forensic or eDiscovery tools, methodologies and protocols. Related industry certifications are an asset. • Proficiency with PC / MAC / Mobile hardware, cloud storage, servers or networking • Experience with Windows, UNIX or Linux. Experience with mobile operating systems is an asset. • Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Threat Hunting tools • Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical ability • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills • A high level of personal integrity and energy, a commitment to teamwork and a strong desire to learn • An ability to work under tight deadlines, which can lead to occasional and sometimes significant overtime requirements • The ability and willingness to undertake travel both within Canada and internationally, sometimes on short notice • Successful candidates will also be required to obtain government security clearance. • Fluent in French and English • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives Why you #39;ll love PwCWe #39;re inspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
