Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Employee Relations Advisor is responsible for providing efficient and quality support to the managers of the different divisions of their region, including the application of UAP procedures/strategies/programs. You will ensure the adoption of best practice in human resources management, including the application of the performance appraisal process, the salary review process and health and safety files. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the employee #39;s experience and commitment.In close collaboration with the Employee Relations Business Partner, the Employee Relations Advisor participates in several HR projects when necessary.In particular, the Employee Relations Advisor will work on the following:HR PROGRAM AND PROCESSES

  • Implements HR processes and ensures their application within operations, including the performance appraisal process, salary review, holiday management, absenteeism, health and safety.
  • Participates in various committees (ex. health and safety committee)
  • Supports managers in the onboarding, orientation and training of new employees. Ensures a systematic follow-up of the integration of new employees.
  • Works closely with the talent acquisition team and supports the management team if needed.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
  • Supports and coaches managers in terms of employee relations, training, position reviews (for evaluations), health and safety and performance issues.
  • May help with store acquisitions.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
  • Supports all operational aspects of health and safety in their region, such as acting on requests and following up, and helping managers in the management of CNESST cases and prevention plans
  • Leads the CNESST claim process.
