Our IT estate is the bedrock of our ability to deliver great quality to our customers quickly, efficiently, and securely. We are now recruiting for an IT Manager to provide the human connection between our IT infrastructure and the Product/Development/Support teams. You will provide hands-on infrastructure and DevOps support, leadership, and innovation for a team of industry experts and software engineers . You will be working with teams all around the world. Some travel may be required to our data centres in Canada and in the USA. This position requires 10+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining of remote IT infrastructure in hosted datacenters, and extensive experience working with cross-functional development teams and customer support. A willingness and ability to work with a variety of different characters and personalities is vital. The role of the IT Manager is to ensure the stable operation, ongoing support, and planning of new and existing IT infrastructure in a virtualized Windows and Azure environments, including storage, security, firewalls, and physical servers. You will also be required to work with, and alongside, other teams to explore solutions to meet the ongoing challenge of providing the best customer experience. You will have experience with scripting languages and be familiar with the concepts of Continuous Integration/Deployment, or open to learning such skills quickly.
