Join us in our mission to build engaging player communities and offer outstanding experiences!Role overview As our Licensing Lead you #39;ll play a role in supporting our client, the developer of a popular racing game franchise. Your main responsibility will be to work with various stakeholders to handle inbound third party IP licensing agreements. Alongside that you #39;ll also be responsible for managing accounts on a day to day basis and ensuring communication and coordination between all parties involved. What are we looking for Our Licensing Lead has a knack for the following skills: Leadership: ● Lead and manage a team responsible for negotiating and executing inbound IP licensing agreements. ● Proactively address project issues with teams and Project Manager to prevent disruptions. ● Uphold studio policy, process, and security standards as well as ensuring that project-related knowledge bases are up-to-date. ● Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure successful deal closures and effective account management. ● Provide appropriate positive recognition and disciplinary warnings. ● Manage vacation requests, monitor attendance, and address lateness or absences. Analytics: ● Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform negotiation strategies and maximize licensing opportunities. ● Track and analyze licensing agreement performance metrics, such as royalties and usage data, to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Communication: ● Maintain awareness of project status and provide regular reports to Operations Manager. ● Conduct regular quality control checks, identifying coaching opportunities within project processes. ● Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and development teams, to ensure alignment on licensing agreements and reporting requirements. ● Communicate regularly with external partners to facilitate smooth negotiations and address any concerns or questions they may have. Business: ● Develop and implement strategies to expand the IP licensing portfolio and drive revenue growth for the franchise. ● Manage day-to-day account management activities, including contract renewals, compliance monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders. You #39;d be a great fit for this role if you have: ● 5+ years of Licensing experience in video gaming, music, or similar content including negotiating, closing, and tracking multiple complex deals at a time.● 2+ years of experience leading teams.● Demonstrated knowledge of contractual terms related to inbound, third-party, intellectual property (IP) licensing. ● Knowledge of game development and production cycles. ● Experience managing frequently shifting priorities to align with production timelines. ● Ability to work independently, be a decisive thinker, and have high attention to detail. ● Willing to research content until you are satisfied you have a full and complete picture. ● Experience creating offers and knowledge of royalty terms. ● Experience working on a global brand required, management preferred. ● Fluent in spoken and written EnglishPhases of our recruitment journey: • You send us your application with your updated resume. • After reviewing your candidacy and if you meet the requirements, we’ll invite you for the first online Interview via MS Teams with one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists.
