Job Description

Job DescriptionReporting to the Manager, Financial ERP in the Finance Continuous Improvement (CI) team, the CI-D365 Analyst (F amp;O) is responsible to perform, manage and improve various operational activities and services to Finance users (training, support, accounting structure changes, accesses, integrations with other systems, recurring activities, system upgrades, etc.). This role also leads special initiatives and contributes to the successful delivery of enhancement opportunities.

  • Obtain a deep understanding of accounting operations performed in D365, system configuration and how other systems integrate with D365. Be a primary point of contact (POC) and Finance subject matter expert (SME) for the D365 F amp;O module to Finance users and IT.
  • Design a training strategy, own the training platform, and develop training material for Finance users, including new employees and new entities integrated in D365. Create a training path per role embedded in the larger Finance employee training / onboarding plan.
  • Provide excellent support to Finance users and improve the support platform and processes.
  • Be responsible for recurring activities (ex. month-end close, integrations with other systems) and continuously improve the efficiency and smooth delivery of those activities. Also, contribute to quarterly system upgrades.
  • Be responsible for changes in the accounting structure, organizational hierarchy, and master data.
  • Manage and design additional system controls (ex. user accesses, approval flows) to ensure strong system internal control.
  • Lead special initiatives and contribute to the successful delivery of enhancement opportunities.
  • Own, design / improve, document, communicate, and ensure compliance of user processes and policies.
  • Own, complete and maintain the CI-D365 team documentation, incl. system financial configuration, standard operating procedures (SOP) and a training manual for CI employees.
  • Contribute to building a roadmap for the system evolution to better support Finance operational needs, improve financial accuracy and accounting compliance, as well as enhance system controls.
