Job Description

SENIOR DIRECTOR, CONSULTING SERVICESGenerally speaking, the senior director will take charge of certain client files, in addition to reviewing the files of advisors and directors, ensuring the management of the consulting team in order to respect all deadlines and the accuracy of the files , and will provide support and training to the team. He actively participates in clients #39; financial and estate planning and provides his expertise on complex files.Your role:• Management and supervision of mandates and deadlines• Review of the accounting and financial statements prepared by advisors and directors for the different entities• Review and/or preparation of tax returns for the different entities• Review and/or preparation of different tax slips for the different entities• Presentation of financial statements and tax returns to clients• Participation in the management of the mandate calendar• Staff training• Carrying out various special mandates (financial planning, estate planning, will, tax reorganization, etc.)• Participation in meetings with customers to fully understand their expectations and needs• Preparation of service offers and presentations• Participation in customer billing• Advice and collaboration with the investment team for the implementation of the tax aspects of the investment policyProfile sought:• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience• CPA title• Experience in an accounting firm• Deep knowledge of taxation• Deep knowledge of investment accounting• Experience with holding companies, trusts and foundations• Knowledge of financial and estate planning is a major asset• Essential bilingualism (English and French)Personal skills and abilities:• Rigor and attention to detail essential• Great sense of leadership• Excellent time management and work organization skills• Ability to resolve practical problems; very motivated by achieving results• Team spirit with a positive attitude• Excellent written and oral communication skillsWorkplace: Montreal Downtown – Hybrid teleworking vs face-to-face formulaWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salaryAnnual bonus programGroup insurance, including dental, glasses and disability, paid 70% by the employerGroup RRSP with employer contributionCompressed summer schedule for July to September (1/2 day off per week or 1 day per 2 weeks)Holiday Leave: 5 days of paid leave, including the two statutory daysDay off on birthdayAllowance for physical activity or other benefit of the employee #39;s choiceTeleworking permitted (2-3 days per week), including all computer equipment at homeEmployment status : Permanent, full time – flexible scheduleWHYCompetent and committed teamExcellent working atmosphereInnovative thinkingLeader in the family office industryGreat growth potentialThe use of the masculine gender was used to lighten the text and facilitatereading.
