Job Description

Location: In office - Montreal QCSchedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pmSalary: $50K - $70KCompany:Our client is a dynamic and respected design firm specializing in retail environments that are both visually impactful and functionally effective. Their family oriented team collaborates across architecture, interior design, and project management to deliver tailored solutions that align with brand identity, operational goals, and user engagement.Description:Our client is seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in architectural project management, ideally within the retail sector.

  • Lead and manage the design and technical development of retail projects from concept through to construction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design intent is executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct site visits, coordinate with contractors, and resolve on-site design issues.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and local regulations.
  • Contribute to design presentations, material selections, and finish specifications tailored to retail environments.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural or interior design project management, ideally within retail design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using both tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and building systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with project coordination and client interaction is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual Englishamp; French.
