Innovation is part of our core values; and we encourage new ideas whether they are big or small.Job PurposeThe Project Manager will ensure efficient coordination between cross-functional teams, including R amp;D, engineering, suppliers, and external contractors/engineering firms.Responsabilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. This includes setting realistic milestones and ensuring that all project activities are aligned with company goals and budget constraints;
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, including R amp;D, engineering, operations, and suppliers. Ensure clear communication and alignment across all teams to avoid delays and facilitate timely decision-making;
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, working within the allocated budget. Provide regular financial updates to senior management and recommend adjustments if needed to keep the project within financial targets;
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external suppliers, including the negotiation of contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services essential for the project;
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements. Regularly report on project progress, challenges, and performance metrics to senior leadership, providing insights into areas for improvement.
Training, degrees:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in business, industrial engineering or any other related field.
Experience, knowledge:
  • 5 years of North American experience in Project Management
  • 2 years of North American experience working on mining projects, pharmaceutical, battery or chemical projects.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Project
Skills, aptitudes:
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is required as the successful candidate will be interacting on a regular basis with contacts outside Quebec;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Meticulous approach to planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate project data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly;
  • PMP certification.
