Our team supports fabricators, general contractors, and engineering firms with advanced solutions, leveraging tools like SDS2 to deliver precision and efficiency.As we expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Steel Detailing Coordinator / Project Manager to lead detailing projects and coordinate workflows between internal teams, clients, and external partners.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate steel detailing projects from kickoff through to fabrication and erection
• Interface with clients, engineers, fabricators, and erectors to ensure alignment on project scope, priorities, and deliverables
• Oversee and review 3D models and 2D deliverables produced in SDS2 for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract documents
• Lead RFI generation and resolution, shop drawing submissions, and change order tracking
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and quality control benchmarks across all assigned projects
• Ensure adherence to AISC/CSA standards, project specifications, and internal QA/QC procedures
• Mentor and guide detailers and checkers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel detailing, with at least 2 years in a project management or coordination role
• Proficiency in SDS2 (modeling, editing, and checking) is required
• Strong understanding of AISC codes, steel fabrication practices, and erection tolerances
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with BIM coordination, Navisworks, or similar tools is an asset
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus
• Fluent in English (verbalamp; written)
