In this exciting role, you will be responsible to develop and maintain good relationships with wholesalers and distributors. This position will play a critical role in the creation and execution of the wholesale distribution strategy for the entire portfolio of products for AbbVie Canada. This position is a field-based position in Montreal (or Toronto) and reports to the Senior Trade Relations Manager.Key responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with the major wholesalers and distributors across the country to ensure that key contacts are well informed about AbbVie products and manage inventory levels within the supply chain.
    • Manage the contractual agreements with wholesalers and distributors.
    • Notify customers and update of all systems relating to new/changes in price and product lists.
  • Tracking and monitoring of the execution and success.
    • Develop reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identify the appropriate metrics and tracking to ensure the right execution. Analyze volume, inventory levels, trends, growth.
    • Liaise with Finance and Forecasters for month-end and quarter-end process.
    • Ensure data integrity and data flows between the company and distribution vendors and trade partners.
  • Develop, build and execute distribution strategies for each product.
    • Collaborate on the development of the overall trade and distribution business plan in collaboration with the brand teams.
    • Implement trade/distribution strategies and programs.
    • Conduct quarterly business reviews with trade partners.
    • Anticipate and recommend solutions to business problems.
