The Role We’re seeking a bold, entrepreneurial CEO / AI Business Leader to lead our AI unit at Nomi. • Oversee day-to-day operations and strategy of Nomi AI within Valsoft’s AI portfolio

• Develop and execute a growth-focused roadmap aligned with long-term goals

• Translate vision into action—own P amp;L, go-to-market strategy, and org design

Operational Excellence

• Design scalable workflows for onboarding, support, and internal systems

• Define and monitor KPIs across key functions for performance optimization

• Systematize repeatable processes while maintaining startup agility

AI Productamp; Technology Leadership

• Rapidly validate ideas—ideally capable of leading/overseeing a PoC in weeks

• Collaborate with AI engineers and users to shape impactful, scalable solutions

• Drive commercialization of AI technologies in real-world environments

Team Buildingamp; Execution

• Hire, lead, and inspire a team that shares your passion for execution and innovation

• Cultivate a culture of ownership, learning, and speed

• Build the foundation of a company with scale in mind—lean, fast, and bold

Customeramp; Market Insights

• Run customer discovery to inform product development and business direction

About You

• You’re entrepreneurial at your core—you’ve built, sold, or scaled something from zero to one (or one to ten)

• You’re hungry, young-at-heart, and thrive on ownership and autonomy

• You may have a background in top-tier consulting, high-growth startups, or founder-led ventures

• You execute fast—done is better than perfect

• You see ambiguity as fuel—not a blocker

• You have a real passion for AI and its commercial applications

• You don’t need hand-holding—you lead the charge and make things happen

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial or startup background highly preferred

• Deep curiosity or working knowledge of AI/ML technologies

• Proven leadership in a high-growth or early-stage environment

• Bachelor #39;s degree in Business, AI, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
