What Will You Be DoingStrategic Financial Management

• Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance to drive strategic decisions.
• Develop KPI frameworks to assess financial health and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for senior leadership.
• Ensure positive cash flow and long-term profitability across portfolio companies.
• Work closely with M amp;A teams on due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

Financial Reportingamp; Accounting

• Oversee financial close processes, including reporting and compliance.
• Ensure statutory and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Establish financial internal controls and process optimization strategies.
• Lead the implementation of NetSuite ERP and other automation initiatives.

Technologyamp; Process Innovation

• Champion AI, automation, and workflow tools to improve finance functions.
• Identify and implement new financial technologies to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making.
• Leverage data analytics for predictive financial modeling.

M amp;Aamp; Financial Integration

• Develop financial onboarding plans for newly acquired businesses.
• Ensure alignment of acquired companies’ accounting policies with Valsoft standards.
• Support valuation, purchase price allocation, and deferred payment calculations.
• Establish scalable reporting and governance frameworks post-acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, (CPA or CFA is an asset).
• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP amp;A (Big 4 or consulting firm experience is a plus).
• Prior exposure to M amp;A, financial integrations is an asset.
• Strong understanding of different ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and business technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and the office suite.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
