Job Description

If search engine optimization, keyword research, and SEO best practices are your areas of expertise, we #39;d love to have you as our go-to expert. We #39;re seeking a Freelance SEO Specialist to be available on a part-time or as-needed basis, helping us and our clients enhance our digital presence through both content optimization and technical strategies. You have a solid understanding of search engine algorithms and marketing tools, and you’re adept at offering actionable, easy-to-understand recommendations to a variety of audiences.What does an SEO Specialist do at Evolving WebYou will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve rankings, and enhance the visibility of both our agency and client projects.Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth SEO audits (technical, on/off-page, and local) including keyword research, search engine analysis
  • Continuously optimize website content and technical infrastructure for search engine visibility
  • Develop and monitor SEO campaigns, measure their performance, and provide monthly reports to the management team
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across websites and digital platforms
  • Research competitors, identify industry trends, and generate ideas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO techniques, algorithms, and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Advise clients on SEO strategies, execute audits, and provide actionable insights
Bonus for:
  • Audit and remediate analytics setups used to measure SEO performance
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in an SEO-focused role with a proven track record of driving organic traffic and improving search rankings
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, link-building strategies, and technical SEO
  • Knowledge of conversion optimization and online customer acquisition strategies
  • Experience in presenting complex data and insights in a simple and engaging way
  • Interest in staying ahead of SEO trends and adapting proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and French
  • Commitment to customer service and strong prioritization abilities
