Job Description

As a Photo Retoucher at Nuovo, your main duty will be editing and retouching large quantities of photos in an efficient manner, while maintaining and upholding maximum product quality for every guest. Our team is rapidly growing, and we’re seeking talented and experienced retouchers to join our team at our head office.About Nuovo Artistic PhotographyHeadquartered in the heart of Montreal’s Old Port, Nuovo is an innovative and fast-growing photography company. With seven studio locations across North America, Nuovo specializes in empowering both individuals and couples through semi-nude artistic photography. We provide an authentic, memorable, and therapeutic photoshoot experience to anyone and everyone looking to unveil their true beauty.As part of our team, you’ll enjoy:

Other responsibilities include:
  • Batch editing guest photos
  • Background removal
  • Color correction and lighting adjustments
  • Meeting strict deadlines and targets to ensure utmost customer satisfaction
  • Skin and blemish retouching
  • Dodging and burning
  • Proactively showing initiative to foresee and resolve problems related to imagery
  • Establishing and enforcing file naming conventions
  • Being conscious of deadlines and time management
  • Quality assurance
RequirementsQualifications and Key Competencies
  • Must be an expert in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Camera Raw
  • Experience with batch editing
  • Highly skilled in editing and retouching skin
  • Familiar with photoshop actionsamp; Batch automation
  • Dodging and burning
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of photography lighting
  • Strong understanding of composition
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
